Graduates who complete this year-long advanced program will be prepared to attend medical school, enter competitive PhD research programs, and perform research in the growing field of neuroimaging
Understand the scientific and clinical underpinnings of neuroimaging
Develop proficiency in brain anatomy and function in health and disease
Acquire expertise in neuroimaging technology and integrative computational processing
"This program taught me how to think about processing pipelines, analyze brain images, and interpret the results. In addition, this program gave me a thorough understanding of the different MR modalities and how each of these different modalities can be applied to understand more about the brain."
Receive hands-on training with the institute’s state-of-the-art Siemens 3T and 7T MRI scanners
Gain experience with MRI systems, physiological monitors and other advanced equipment
Learn to collect and analyze large biomedical datasets
Students partner with diverse faculty and staff with expertise in neuroscience, computer science and engineering to answer pressing questions about how the brain functions
"I got to know each professor and made great connections with each of them. Through my professors, I was able to connect with other clinicians and professors where I gained valuable research and clinical experience."
